In Foley, an alley known as Cat Alley is being transformed into a vibrant gathering place as part of a larger effort to beautify the city and attract locals downtown. Darrelyn Dunmore, Foley Main Street Executive Director, explains that the initiative aims to improve downtown's appearance, promote local shops, and connect walkable areas like parks and museums. The project, set for completion by the holiday season, coincides with opening three new downtown businesses, enhancing the area's appeal for events and community activities.
