Downtown businesses receive AL Spark Grant to assist with marketing

Main Street Scottsboro is at it again! The organization recently announced the five local businesses receiving its Illuminate marketing grant through the AL Spark initiative. The goal of the program is dedicated to stimulating small businesses and ensuring our Alabama communities thrive while also keeping their authentic identities intact. I'd say we're off to an incredible start, thanks to the work of these organizations making the most of Main Street Alabama's partnership with the Small Business Administration.

New business opening in Wetumpka's downtown

You could say Main Street Wetumpka is cooking with gas! Through impactful pubic-private partnerships, the wildly popular Grove Station is relocating to Company Street in downtown Wetumpka. Once the construction is complete in its new location, Grove Station will be a specialty food market and gathering space featuring high-quality selections, as well as an artisanal bakery and elevated culinary experience. Sounds delicious!
