2024 Main Street Now Conference to be held in Birmingham
Birmingham has been chosen as the host city for the 2024 Main Street Now Conference. The conference will be hosted by Main Street America in partnership with Main Street Alabama and Sweet Home Alabama.

Why this Alabama town loves Pete the Cat
Right in downtown Fort Payne is a set of bronze statues to honor country supergroup Alabama, who famously hails from the small northeast Alabama town. And right across the street from them is a huge mural of the town's other superstar, Pete the Cat.
