The Downtown Russellville Collective, which formed last year as the city pursues Main Street Alabama status, now has a leader in place.
West excited to start new venture as Main Street director
With the motto of "Deep Connections. Fresh Vision," Main Street has a new executive director stepping in. Michelle West, owner of Studio West, said she saw the application last year and tried to think of some good candidates who truly care about the downtown area.

Main Street Wetumpka to introduce the "Love this Place" campaign during the month of February. This campaign uses the Main Street Wetumpka slogan of "We Love This Place" to strengthen its historic business district in the heart of Wetumpka. The "Love this Place" campaign will focus on the unity of small businesses, love for downtown and social media calls to action.
