Mariah Montgomery grew up in Topeka, Kansas, and earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Emporia State University in Emporia, Kansas. After moving to Alabama, she began her career with CGI in Troy, where she gained valuable experience in technology-focused roles, including project management and client delivery. 

 

In 2019, Mariah shifted her focus to community development, joining the Enterprise Parks and Recreation Department as a Recreation Program Coordinator. There, she worked to bring engaging events and programs to the community, building connections and fostering a sense of belonging.

 

In February 2022, Mariah became the Executive Director of Main Street Enterprise with the City of Enterprise. During her time in this role, she worked with local stakeholders to implement a wide range of projects and events that celebrated the city's history and supported downtown revitalization. These efforts earned recognition at the state level, highlighting the impact of collaborative community initiatives. 

 

In January 2025, Mariah joined Main Street Alabama as a Program Development Specialist, where she continues to support communities across the state in their efforts to create vibrant, sustainable downtowns.

 

Mariah is passionate about preserving local history, building partnerships, and creating opportunities for people to connect and thrive in their communities.
